Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will:
* Directly manage the performance of the Maintenance team while communicating with team personnel and providing guidance
* Be responsible for the management of any subcontractors coming onsite.
* Develop an annual budget where you will review and report on monthly performance.
* Recommend improvements and modifications to existing plant and facilities while improving operations and adhering to budgets.
* Responsible for team development and safety together with employee discipline.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Proven experience working within the power generation sector. This includes EFW, CCGT, Oil, Coal or Biomass
* Relevant engineering qualification such as; degree/HND/HNC in an engineering discipline, ideally mechanical.
* Strong knowledge of working with budgets
Personal skills
