Maintenance Manager – Hotels

Field based role

Head offices in Milton Keynes

Salary – up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Full time role.

We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to join us and help look after our maintenance activities across the Hotels division of the Welcome Break business.

What will your role look like?

You will be responsible for:

• Managing all maintenance activities; striving to improve investment and repairs delivery in terms of time, cost and quality
• Leading and administering the relevant maintenance control system, as well as reviewing and evaluating costs of new services and goods – choosing best options for the business
• Tracking and monitoring conditions of buildings within the Hotels estate, recording short and long term changes and improvements
• Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues affecting the continuous operation of the business
• Briefing the Hotels division and wider business on maintenance activities and the dilapidations processes as well as repairs

About you

Ideally we are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in facilities management on a regional / multi unit / multi hotel basis
• Knowledge of the Hotels sector
• Knowledge of a multi site property business in an operational setting
• Financial knowledge in relation to maintenance and repair
• Understanding of landlord issues and statutory bodies
