Location: Scape Canada Water
Hours: 40 hours per week. Your normal working hours will be on a shift basis to cover 7am-8pm, Monday - Sunday. You will also be part of an on-call rota which will include evenings and weekends.
As a Maintenance Operative, your main responsibilities would be:
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work, training will be provided, basic knowledge of general property maintenance preferred. (basic painting skills required)
- Carry out fault finding and leak investigations.
- Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations.
- Comply with Health and Safety processes and responsibilities.
- Complete work reports on an iPad
- Work as part of the maintenance team and under your own initiative
- Stock-taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels.
- Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy, and equipment is checked on a regular basis. Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager and outside contractors.
- Sign in and assist specialist sub-contractors when required.
- Replace light switches, light bulbs and fixtures.
- Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy and equipment is checked on a regular basis. Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager
- Control and direct specialist sub-contractors at all times when they visit site
- Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
