A nationwide, leading FM organisation currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to join their Facilities Management team working on a Birmingham (commercial) site.
The role:
- Reporting to the Facilities Manager
- To undertake any allocated jobs as directed by the Maintenance Team Leader or Facilities Manager, in line with requests sent via PDA/mobile devices
- To respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns and ensure all associated paperwork is completed in a satisfactory, accurate and prompt manner
- To carry out general duties including support by manual labour for relocations and moves, tidying and cleaning Estates areas and Plant rooms.
- Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the estate
- Required to be on the on-call rota
What you'll need:
- Experience in a maintenance role and of PPM completion
- Required to achieve and retain relevant vetting clearance required by the client
- Good customer care and people skills
- Ability to work well in a team or unsupervised
- Basic fabric handy person skills
