Long Ashes Park is a unique set up with residential park homes, owned holiday lodges and caravans as well as hire fleet lodges and pods. On site is a busy leisure centre and The Gamekeeper's Inn, offering a stunning Yorkshire wedding venue alongside a traditional country inn with rooms and food. We're located in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, close to the honeypot of Grassington, only 9 miles from Skipton.
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Member to help maintain our holiday accommodation including rooms, lodges and pods as well as general site maintenance including groundwork and interior repairs as and when required. As such, we're looking for a skilled Maintenance Team Member to help improve standards throughout the site and its various departments to maintain and improve the customer experience.
Your new role:
- Complete general maintenance across the site including outside ground maintenance and repairs as well as inside general and reactive repairs.
- Complete health & safety checks on the site and holiday lodges such as water testing, legionella checks, fire and emergency lighting etc
- Assist with painting and improving the appearance of hire fleet, hotel accommodation, leisure centre, spa and pub.
- Keep the grounds clear of litter and debris
- Building improvements and repairs, such as decking, fencing and architraves
- Jet washing decking and pathways
- Assist with winter maintenance such as gritting
- Deliver gas bottles to holiday homes
- Read and report on electric readings
- Maintain seasonal camping field, keep clear of debris, check the facilities building
- Adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and site specific Health and Safety protocols.
You'll need:
- A Full UK driving license (preferable).
- Previous maintenance experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- To be able to work under pressure.
- Maintain a smart appearance.
- Be professional with a team focused approach and excellent customer service skills
- Be flexible when unforeseen maintenance issues arise.
- Problem solving mindset.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £12.00 per hour
