Scope of work:
Working in an exciting and dynamic environment and reporting into the rotating Machinery First Line Supervisor, your primary role will be to plan maintenance activities for the rotating machinery discipline. You will work closely with the Maintenance, Operations and Engineering teams to plan maintenance for day to day activities and planned shutdowns and will be responsible for visiting the job site with the relevant support trades to identify the right scope of work, then creating fit for purpose job plans ready for safe and efficient execution by the execution team. Some of your Responsibilities * Demonstrates Safety Leadership through the promotion of personal safety management systems (PSMS) principles, ensuring safeguards are integrated into how we do work at the planning stage. * Develop quality, fit for purpose job plans that are conducive to efficient work execution. * Requests purchase requisitions for necessary parts and materials via the Procurement team. * Actively seeks feedback to continuously improve plans. * Update SAP Bill of Material (BOMs) for spares holdings. * Identifies and builds QA/QC requirements into work packs to drive right first time execution. * Create/Manage SAP Maintenance plans/task list for preventative maintenance activities. * Manage maintenance orders to ensure resources are utilised as efficiently as possible. * Lead field walk downs with engineering, rotating machinery specialists and/or maintenance execution FLS to ensure coordination of task execution in the field. * Research repairable and non-stock parts to ensure availability and adjust inventory as required. * Grouping notifications together that can be planned and worked as a single order. * Monitor backlog for assigned area of responsibility and report status and delays as necessary. * Works with rotating machinery first line supervisor and specialist to ensure correct scope of work is identified. * Participate in staff meetings and maintenance update / scheduling meetings. * Review new notifications in unplanned backlog on a daily basis and plan them per agreed priority with appropriate Process and Maintenance Coordinator. * Participates in plant safety, health, and environmental programs. * Acts as discipline lead for reliability initiatives. * Coordinates with offsite 3rd party vendors to ensure quality offsite repairs are delivered.
Skills & Knowledge Required Education/Experience:
* Minimum 15 years' experience in chemical, refining or industrial manufacturing with prior responsibility for facilitating maintenance planning activities including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, hydraulics, steam turbines etc. Behavioral Skills * Feels personal affinity with ExxonMobil core values of Integrity, Care, Courage, Excellence and Respect. * Has a collaborative, can do attitude getting work done. * The ability to work with diverse groups in a dynamic environment to solve complex problems is a must. * Strong Field leadership capability * Experience with mentoring less experienced team members to develop their competency. * Ability to influence without authority * Exceptionally strong communication skills, drive, sense of urgency and problem-solving abilities will be critical for you to succeed in this role. Technical Skills * Working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance Module is desired though training will be provided for the right candidate with alternative CMMS experience. * Strong technical knowledge of materials, equipment design and function * Ability to read and interpret technical information e.g. P&IDs, equipment layout, general arrangement drawings etc. * Solid understanding of machinery failure modes and ability to diagnose correct repair scopes. * Previous experience facilitating third party workshop repairs. * Working knowledge of Microsoft products. Strong application of Excel.
