SalaryMulti Trades Recruitment is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer with a strong plumbing background and experience in electrical work to join our facilities team in Leeds. This role is essential to ensuring the hospital operates smoothly and safely, providing both planned and reactive maintenance services.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Pay: Weekly Pay
- Type: Temp - Perm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on air handling units, water pumps/controllers, and the steam system that feeds chillers and hot water systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of plumbing and electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform fault finding to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient maintenance service.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with a focus on plumbing and electrical systems, preferably in a commercial or healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
