SalaryWe are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Merthyr Tydfil, who are recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader on a temporary three-month contract.
The position is due to start on the 20th July, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £30 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing budgets, planning maintenance and prioritising repairs based on urgency/necessity.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Planning the delivery of repairs and maintenance, ensuring all work fall in line with pre-agreed annual budgets
- Efficiently planning and delivering on responsive repairs, ensuring those that are urgent are completed as a priority
- Acting as the first point of contact for tenants, contractors and senior members of staff for any maintenance queries
- Carrying out pre and post inspections of works carried out by contractors
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience carrying out responsive repairs
- Experience managing budgets/time frames
- Experience handling complaints
