We are looking for a dedicated Buildings Maintenance Operative to ensure the completion of customer care maintenance work and the resolution of any defects from projects in line with company procedures and core values. The role involves overseeing the coordination and resolution of aftercare building issues, liaising with clients and sub-contractors, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Day to day of the role:- Oversee the coordination and resolution of aftercare building issues.
- Contact clients to arrange visits, ensuring prompt and professional service.
- Follow work items lists to ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and trades to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Ensure work is carried out safely, adhering to the company’s health and safety processes and HSE requirements.
- Complete associated paperwork and documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with a pragmatic approach and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Multi-skilled in various trades, with essential experience in joinery.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, and positive can-do attitude.
- Self-motivated with a keen interest in being client-facing.
- Full UK driving license.
- Basic IT skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
