Maintenance Technician – Hv Specialist

Hiring an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with High Voltage experience to be seconded by our client to a project site based at Wilton, for this full-time permanent opportunity.
In addition to the primary role of daily maintenance of electrical plant equipment, using your experience in multiple switching types and 11kV/3.3kV high voltage distribution and associated equipment will also act as the High Voltage Senior Authorised Person (SAP).
You will be responsible for HV switchgear operation, issuing and cancelling HV safety documents and ensuring safe work practices, with investment in your training where required.
Requirements:
• Petrochemical industry time served apprenticeship and experience
• An aptitude for fault finding and a demonstrable personal commitment to safety
• A valid CompEx certification
• Site Safety Passport or IOSH
• Knowledge of High Voltage distribution systems and at least 3 years of practical switching experience.
• HV Switching authorised status (HV Grade 2, or HV Grade 4 and a desire to achieve G2).
