Maintenance Technician

• Position: Maintenance Technician
• Salary: up to £25,000
• Location: Hailsham
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

My client has a great opportunity for a dexterous person to be trained as a Maintenance Technician at its family firm. The successful candidate will carry out compliance testing, audits, safety checks of healthcare equipment, repair and maintenance of chemical dosing equipment in schools, nursing homes and hotels throughout the South East. Training in basic electrical skills will be given.

The role will include:

• Inspections and repair of healthcare equipment such as electric beds, hoists, chairs and bath lifts, mattress and seating systems and wheelchairs
• Installations and maintenance of auto-dosing laundry, dishwasher and dilution systems
• Dispenser fitting such as hand towels, toilet tissue and skincare
• LOLER and PUWER testing of healthcare equipment
• Identifying customer needs for new equipment
• Carrying out basic site duties such as decorating, gardening and facility maintenance tasks
