Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to become a part of our growing team. This role requires performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across our operational commercial properties in the South East. The ideal candidate will exhibit positive outlook, the confidence to deal with issues and the technical skills to advise colleagues internally that delivers exceptional customer service. This role entails travel to our sites and a company vehicle for business use will be provided, a full drivers licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance and handyperson tasks
- Vegetation clearance
- Perform PAT Testing
- Execute small plumbing repairs
- Conduct door repairs
- Install carpet tiles and stair nosings
- Support other trades and participate in skill training
- Source materials and equipment for tasks
- Update work sheets via our mobile app
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience (5 years) in maintenance or a related field
- Skilled in multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Outstanding customer service skills for effective stakeholder interaction
- Strong English communication skills
- Proficient in using mobile apps and digital tools
- Expertise in general maintenance activities
- Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Background in property services/facilities management is a plus
- Previous compliance or trades experience is advantageous
- IPAF/PASMA training preferred but not required
- Self-sufficient and able to work independently
- Valid full driving license
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 per year
