The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for an experienced Major Incident Manager / Problem Manager to assist our client with the day-to-day management of all P1 and P2 Major Incidents on a real time, mission critical control system.


You will occupy a key role in a busy service management team which is handling on average 8-10 Major Incidents a week, taking part in the on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage of the system is maintained.


You will be included in the assessment and monitoring of current incident management processes, suggesting changes to escalation actions and processes to improve problem resolution times.


Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience working in a busy incident/problem management positions
  • Ability to reviewing and improve incident escalation actions, processes and reporting Experience of co-ordinating responses to request for planned maintenance and system upgrades resulting in service disruption.
  • In-depth understanding and certifications in service management methodologies (ITIL V4, ServiceNow)
  • Extensive exposure to release and deployment management processes
  • Ability to manage senior level stakeholders and end clients
  • Willing to work as part of a rota to ensure 24/7 coverage
