We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join a secondary school in Wigan on a supply basis, to start from Easter until summer 2024.
The position will be main scale, teaching across the age range and would suit someone new to the profession or with some experience looking to move to a different environment.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location - Wigan
- Position - PE Teacher
- Type of work - Temporary, day to day
- Start date - Easter 2023
- Duration - ongoing
- Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings and departmental meetings as required
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS or equivalent
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
- Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
