We are looking for warm and friendly people to join our team supporting 5 people who live independently in Lowestoft. You will be working alongside them in their own home so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. This role will involve a real hands-on approach supporting them to maintain their health and wellbeing. They enjoy a variety of activities at home and within their community, so if you enjoy new and exciting things to do, then this could be just the place for you.
You should be available to work a variety of shifts across the week and some weekends, including some sleep-in shifts as needed
An essential part of this role is being a driver and having access to your own vehicle
So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all trips out and artwork. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy.
It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!
If you want to empower people to live the life they choose within Lowestoft and you share our values… Apply to become a Support Worker today.
