Job Description


About the Role

ASOS Customer Care are looking for an MI Analyst to bolster our data-driven decision-making capabilities. This role is designed for someone with a keen interest in analytics and who is looking to take their next step on this journey in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. You'll work under guidance of the team to deliver well-defined analytics and reporting solutions.

This is an entry level role, more focused on execution rather than stakeholder management and mentorship. It is important to our operation’s success, requiring both technical skill and a willingness to learn and adapt.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting in the development of reporting, data, and analytical products using tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, Data Lake, and Data Factory.
  • Conducting performance analysis on key customer care metrics including Customer Resolution Rate, tNPS and contact volumes.
  • Routinely produce insight packs to highlight areas of focus on operational performance.
  • Executing tasks aligned with scalable solutions for data and analytics as part of wider Customer Care objectives.
  • Following detailed technical specifications to convert complex business requirements into practical data analytics tasks.
  • Contributing to the data-driven project delivery process, supporting the achievement of team goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborating with senior members of the Customer Care analytics team to learn and grow within the role.
  • Aiding in enhancing the technical capabilities of the team through active learning and application of new knowledge.
  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the analytics pipeline under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Assisting in automating and streamlining data processes to boost efficiency and accuracy under the leadership of the Manager and Lead roles.

Qualifications


Who We'd Like to Meet

  • Experience with the Microsoft analytics suite, including Power BI, SQL Server, Data Lake, and Data Factory.
  • Experience in designing and executing reporting and analytical systems within set parameters.
  • Capability to interpret technical plans and deliver on data analytics initiatives.
  • Familiarity with various stages of the project lifecycle, with a focus on detailed execution.
  • Competence in writing and optimizing SQL queries for the purpose of data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to understand and work within complex systems, applying solutions as directed by senior staff.
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills suited to a structured environment.
  • Eagerness to develop expertise in technical areas and work collaboratively within a team.
