The Role

 

We are seeking a Planning Manager – Development Management to lead our Development Management team.

 

This role is high profile, being a key member of the councils management team, interacting with a wide range of stakeholders across the city and beyond, and being the lead officer at planning committee.

 

We are looking for an experienced planner with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and with a clear customer focus, who shares our passion for delivering the best outcomes we can for the City.

 

You will play a key role in the city’s continuing regeneration journey and support development across the city to deliver on the council plan. The Development Management team is key to the successful delivery of our ambition.

 

The role oversee’s the Development Management and enforcement functions of the council. The team has a great balance of experience and an approach which seeks to negotiate positive outcomes for the community and applicants.
