Exciting new opportunity for Manual Lathe Turner who has worked with Metal.

You will join a friendly and well established agricultural client based in Corby.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:00AM - 17:00PM

Friday 08:00AM - 16:30PM

Pay:

15.69 per hour + Overtime

Skills & experience:

• Can operate the CNC Manual Lathes ideally Colchester lathe.
• Can manufacture high quality parts from drawings and cad files
• Able to choose the correct tooling and make parts from a piece of metal
• Can minimise setup and run times whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
• Able to work with 3D models, 2D drawings, samples, and instructions to carry out a variety of one-off projects, small batch work, repairs and reverse engineering.

Do you have?

• Ability to work on your own initiative and to meet deadlines when required?
• Experience with Colchester Manual Lathe?
• Can you make metal parts from a block piece of Metal if required?
• Recognised machining/turner qualification (Desired)?
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to samples?
• Attention to quality?
• Self-motivation?
