Job Title: Manual Miller
Location: Houghton - MK45
Hours: 8am until 4.30pm, 5 days a week
(Some flexibility post probation)
Pay Rate: DOE
Overtime available: Regular available/Uncapped

Serving a wide range of industries and specialising in the Automotive Sector they design and build dedicated solutions ranging from Assembly Fixtures right through to complete Automated Robot Systems.
A proper engineering company, they offer comprehensive range of fabrication & machining capabilities. Welding & Fabrication, Machining of Large Tooling, Turning, Milling, Grinding, Volume Batch Work & bespoke Single Items, CNC/CAD Milling & Turning, Vertical & Horizontal Jig Boring are some of the manufacturing processes they offer.
Working within Established units that are well heated and ventilated, you will join a highly skilled team of machinists, both young and time served. The company welcome applications from both experienced and young and enthusiastic engineers looking for development.

Whats the job?
⦁ Setting and operating Conventional Milling Machines- Devlieg, Bridgeport,
⦁ Work to tight tolerances OneOFF 4off
⦁ Component sizes range from 20mm > 2000mm
⦁ Maintaining quality standards through use of measurement tools.
⦁ Using other Conventional machines as required Turning, grinding etc.
Who can do this?
⦁ Time Served Apprenticeship, with an appropriate craft or technical qualification. (preferable)
⦁ If not, minimum of 3+ years conventional machining experience
⦁ Provide a great level of attention to details and focus on the given task
⦁ Be dependable, follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for own actions and keep commitments
