Job Description
- Manually operate a lathe turner or Grinder
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Work with powder compacts.
- Self-inspect own work, using a wide range of hand tools.
- Use of mathematical skills to correctly calculate the percentage of shrinkage required when machining the components based on the engineering drawings provided.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Manual Turning or Grinding
- Ability to read engineering drawings and mathematics - this is important to allow for tolerances and shrinkage when going through the sintering processes.
- Able to work with a range of hand-held measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier & Gauges.
- Ability to check your own work using measuring tools.
