MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the build process and the Post Development Engineering (PDE) team, providing a crucial link between production, PDE, and development for work associated with new and existing products. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with both internal and external teams to identify, prioritise, and resolve day-to-day and long-term issues. This role offers an exciting chance to work with the tool room and build team to introduce new tools and equipment.

What you'll do:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our assembly, testing, and toolroom teams. Your ability to identify, prioritise, and resolve issues will be key in ensuring smooth operations. You will also be responsible for raising problem reports and managing changes effectively. Your role will bridge the gap between Production, PDE, and Development for work associated with new and existing products. You will also have the opportunity to represent the department in engineering design reviews and change control board (CCB). Ensuring that all products and processes conform with relevant health and safety policies will be part of your remit.
. Provide support and technical guidance to the assembly, testing, and toolroom teams
. Identify, prioritise, and resolve day-to-day and long-term issues
. Raise problem reports and manage changes to conclusion
. Provide a link between Production, PDE, and Development for work associated with new and existing products
. Support outsourcing initiatives and work transfer projects
. Represent the department in engineering design reviews and change control board (CCB)
. Ensure products and process conform with relevant health and safety policies and company practices
. Identify, evaluate, and provide justification for new tools and equipment
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Manufacturing Engineer position brings a strong mechanical background coupled with excellent problem-solving capabilities. Experience working with precision instruments is essential. Knowledge of tools used by health/pharmaceutical firms would be advantageous. Your ability to provide technical guidance to various teams will be crucial in this role. Experience in managing changes effectively until conclusion is required. A solid understanding of relevant health and safety policies is also necessary.
