Job Title: Manufacturing Buyer

Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for procurement and a keen eye for international sourcing? We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Buyer to join our client based in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our growing organisation and play a key role in our supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand manufacturing requirements and develop effective procurement strategies.
* Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and actively seek opportunities to optimise costs without compromising quality.
* Monitor market trends, industry developments, and geopolitical factors to make informed decisions regarding supplier selection and risk management.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control, to streamline processes and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
* Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve supplier performance and overall procurement effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Manufacturing Buyer with a focus on international procurement.
* Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent qualification is a plus.
