Due to continued growth, we are looking to integrate a Materials Data Analyst to support our growing production team in our fabulous Head Quarters based in Banbridge. This post is permanent contract. Job Title: Manufacturing Data Analyst
Location: Banbridge Head Office
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience
Reporting to: Production Manager
The role of the Manufacturing Data Analyst is to drive existing and new methods for collecting key Manufacturing Data across different value streams, and process data into company wide key performance indicators. This is an exciting role with prior experience which will work alongside the manufacturing and planning functions within the business to provide key insights into performance, status, and projections.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and organise Manufacturing Data and use it to provide Key Performance Indicators and insights that can help drive planning and continuous improvement.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s to include throughput, cycle time, and on time delivery.
- Attend daily manufacturing meetings to report on the manufacturing control board, sharing status and updates across the wider business and with key stakeholders using visual methods to show trends and key data.
- Responsible for walking the assembly lines and using existing software to gather data on project status. Provide reports to the wider management team on key findings.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
- Experience in collecting and arranging data within a manufacturing or similar industrial setting for the purpose of producing key performance indicators.
- Good background using Microsoft Excel, or similar packages, who can manipulate data to form trends and visualising’s.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
- Proficient in using database management systems and tools.
- Methodical and proactive in your work ethic and approach to overcoming challenges.
- An analytical and numerical mindset.
- 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role.
Desirable:
- Possess a degree level education is desirable, but not essential.
- Familiarity with manufacturing MRP systems is desirable but not essential
