Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Role overview:

Understand the client requirements for control panels, advise on design, prepare quotations, and deliver jobs within the specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Understand client requirements and develop project scope for handover to the Design Team.
• Assist in preparation of quotes.
• Assist the Manufacturing Manager in the preparation of proposals to prospected clients.
• Validate project scope, BOM, and technicalities of jobs.
• Task Operations for the Procurement of parts to BOM.
• Coordinate schedules and collaborate with Panel Builders.
• Technically support the Lead Panel Builders and coordinate completion of Drawings updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues on Continuous Improvement.
• Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS).
• Observe the requirements of Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services - Panel Wiring / Panel Builder or Mechanical Manufacture Engineering (fitting and assembly) or equivalent Approved Apprenticeship in Panel Wiring /Panel Building.
• Degree/HND in Electrical biased Engineering discipline.
• Experience in design and assembly of industrial control panels with experience of PLC systems (5+ years required).
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and an understanding of the functionality of electrical switchgear.
