We are on the lookout for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established engineering group in Bristol. The group have been in operation for almost 100 years, with a rich history in the area and have a reputation of delivering and exceeding customer expectation.  With clients across the UK, Europe & Asia our client is looking to continue their busy order book for the foreseeable future.
The Manufacturing Engineer will optimise Aerospace Manufacturing. They will develop, improve and maintain efficient, reliable, and cost-effective processes for aerospace components. They will also ensure the quality and compliance of the products by collaborating with teams to optimise processes and ensure products meet regulatory, customer and quality standards. 
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities

•  Manufacturing Processes: Develop, improve, and maintain efficient, reliable, and cost-effective processes for aerospace components and systems.

• Collaborate for Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions for efficiency, waste reduction, and quality.

• Support Production: Develop process documentation, provide technical training, and support quotation and contract review.

• Aerospace Manufacturing Expertise: 3+ years' experience with processes, materials, and components. Proven ability in process design, optimisation, and improvement.
• Quality & Systems Focus: Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and APQP/FMEA methodologies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of ERP/MRP and CAD/CAM systems. Familiarity with 5S and Lean principles for a data-driven approach.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for teamwork and cross-functional projects.
