Are you an NPI Manufacturing Engineer who wants to play a key critical role in a forward-thinking manufacturer?

The company are a global manufacturing group that produces materials for other manufacturers. A Lean focus is already implemented within management so your input, ideas and expertise will be greeted rather than challenged. This gives you "a lean playground" for you to put your stamp on things.

The role involves instigating critical improvement projects with the goal of maximizing profit. You will eliminate waste from the production process, optimise workflows and introduce and standardise visual management layouts. Part of your role will be working with the process engineering team to provide guidance on 5S and Kaizen.

The Role:

* Manufacturing Engineer - Polymer Processing NPD

* Identify and eliminate waste in the production process through the use of lean manufacturing tools, root cause analysis and logical problem-solving

* Work with New Product Development (NPD) and Raw Material Development (RMD) departments

Candidate Requirements:

* Polymer Processing

* CI, Lean, Kaizen, 5S experience

* Industrial Manufacturing (NPI and Serial Manufacturing)
