Responsibilities
• Maintain and repair processing machinery and ancillary equipment• Carry out preventative maintenance programs• Recommend improvements to production equipment/procedures• Contribute to own personal development plans• Securing necessary resources for upgrades/projects• Liaise with line management and other functions to meet objectives
Requirements
• Time served Electrician and qualified in electrical engineering• Experience in manufacturing or factory setting• Familiarity with works processes and control systems• Initiative, drive, and commitment• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing demands• Ability to work safely under pressure and tight timescales• Good numeracy and literacy skills• Proactive approach to safety• Understanding of PLC's is an advantage
