Manufacturing Engineering Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for our market-leading client in Ballymena who is currently bringing ground-breaking and innovative technological advances to their industry.

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be a key member of the management team and work closely with other departments to improve manufacturing process and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to play a critical role evolving the Manufacturing Engineering team and wider business by driving a continuous improvement and lean culture. You will do this by instilling efficient and efficient processes and supporting the manufacturing engineers and teams.

The candidate:

• You will have at least 3 years’ experience leading an engineering team within a Manufacturing Engineering environment, leading projects and a strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process improvement, design for manufacture and assembly.
• You will have previous experience utilising problem-solving tools and techniques along with factory layout and development.
• You will have excellent communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Educated to HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.
