As Manufacturing Excellence Manager you'll be a key member of the Site Leadership Team and be responsible for delivering the site Manufacturing Excellence agenda. The role focuses on meeting customer expectations through the continuous improvement of the operational processes and taking a world class manufacturing approach, which plays a key part in maintaining and improving the standard.
What you'll get up to
  • Highly effective leadership of the multi- site Manufacturing putting people at the heart of everything we do.
  • Lead cultural transformation ways of working and inspiring others on the journey.
  • Own the excellence agenda encompassing Lean, Lean Six Sigma or TPM technical capability and productivity delivery.
  • Create and sustain an operations culture that is built on Lean manufacturing methodologies, continuous improvement and clear accountability.
  • Drive continuous improvement by involving employees in the problem solving and decision making as well as recognition for exceptional work.
  • Ownership of site specialist resource providing effective support through our daily management systems.
  • Identify a year pipeline for productivity delivery leading to robust delivery of annual productivity savings.
  • Deliver continuous performance improvement through identification, support and leadership of projects, driving improvements in efficiency and other KPIs.
  • Identification and leadership of Lean Six Sigma projects across manufacturing sites.
  • Execution of high priority site improvement projects.

What we're looking for
  • Significant operational leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of applying either Lean or TPM principles to realise business goals and deliver productivity.
  • Demonstrates a servant leadership approach, with effective coaching putting capability and employee engagement at the forefront.
  • High level of personal drive, energy and resilience. A proven track record of getting things done in dynamic operational environments.
  • A smart thinker with the ability to join the dots and build winning strategies for long term Business success.
  • Able to function effectively with multi-disciplinary teams that are geographically separated.
  • Ability to interpret data and formulate results with actionable recommendations.
  • Strong and established project management skills
  • Good knowledge of end to end supply chain complexity and drivers of COGs.
  • Proven ability in strategy development and deployment, thinking beyond tactical task execution.
  • Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the business, as well as lead and facilitate Improvement projects or workshops
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and agendas, build winning teams through coaching and influencing
  • Strong Influencing and collaboration skills, Including outside of site boundaries and using network to deliver results.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company
