Owen Daniels Consultancy has engaged with a key client and an established Design andManufacturing company providing a wide range of services to the Electrical industry, and high-profile clients. Due to team & project growth an opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing / ProductionEngineer to join on a permanent basis.
Manufacturing / Production Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Offering engineering support to the design and development team across manufacturing and design functions.
• Applying knowledge of production tooling to optimize press brakes and punch stations, minimizing additional machine operations, and reducing production lead times.
• Proficiency in in-process welding techniques for MIG/TIG and spot-welding machines, including quality and proof test procedures.
• Conducting feasibility studies on processes for new product production and enhancing existing manufacturing processes' efficiency.
• Continuously monitoring and evaluating product advancement at each stage, identifying, and proposing cost-saving enhancements.
• Maintaining company and program-specific processes and procedures to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Providing technical liaison and assistance throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with senior members of production, design, quality, and manufacturing partners.

Manufacturing / Production Engineer Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing or Production Engineering.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships.
• Effective task and project leadership abilities, adept at prioritization
