Manufacturing Technicians - L/Derry - The LYCRA Company Ltd
The LYCRA Company produces exceptional fiber and technology solutions for the global apparel and hygiene industries. Due to continued success, they now have full time opportunities for Manufacturing Techniciansto join their production team in April 2024.
About the role:
- £Competitive salary starting at £31,070 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) for entry level Technician roles and the opportunity for future advancement to higher paid Tiers.

What will you be doing?
- Operating and managing a wide range of equipment and technology as part of a production focused team.
- Maintaining the operation within given specifications, using computer-based control systems and responding to process variance.
- Validating quality requirements.
- Maintaining a high standard of equipment and work area cleanliness.
Criteria:
- 3 GCSE's at minimum grade 'C' (or equivalent) which must include English
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing / production role ie operating machinery / equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safe and compliant manner
- Strong team-working skills
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills (verbal and written).
