A well-established manufacturer in Knowsley are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their engineering team. Reporting into the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for providing production support for equipment and processes including set-up, maintenance, and optimisation. On offer is a starting salary of £30,000. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm.

The main duties of a Manufacturing Technician are:
Create and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance SOP's and schedules for key manufacturing equipment.
Anticipate problems to avoid production impact.
Provide reactive breakdown support.
Provide maintenance support to the wider teams (Manufacturing and Engineering).
Generate and implement additional SOP's.
Providing training support to colleagues.
Work closely with Quality.
Identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous improvements across the business.
Optimise test processes.
Lead and contribute to operational improvement projects.
Support with audits.
Maintain records of all activities.
You must have maintenance experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
Possess excellent written and communication skills.
Have ability to work with the wider team and as an individual.
