Manufacturing ManagerAutomotive/ Precision EngineeringRuncorn£55,000 CircaAre you a determined, driven and mechanically minded Manufacturing Manager who wants to be engaged in production solving issues?Delve into the real issues faced in a production environment and take a proactive approach to problem solving as a Manufacturing Manager with our partner, who are trailblazers in the automotive industry.Your role as a Manufacturing Manager: * This opportunity will allow you to play to your strengths in mechanical engineering and manufacturing through being a hands on manager and working closely with your team to help them fix issues in production. * This is a chance to lead a team of bright, engaged and passionate engineers in their day to day activities and long term development. * You will use your mechanical engineering knowhow to ask the key questions and be hands on with fixing issues with equipment and have a drive to keep production running smoothly. * Our client are innovators, and this is an opportunity to be involved cross functionally with the introduction of new products through working closely with production, design and quality.Experience and Skills as our Manufacturing Manager: * You will be a determined self-starter who is looking for an opportunity to prove themselves in a large, dynamic and innovative business. * HNC, HND or degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject (For example, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering..) * You will have already experienced leading a team, we are seeking someone who is either already in a management position or can show that they have led others. * You may have worked in a busy precision engineering manufacturing environment such as Automotive, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Assembly.. * Experience in using relevant core tools such as, PFMEA/ DFMEA, CAPP, 8D, CAPA, lean is desirable.Our client are a leading, manufacturing business in the North West who have a reputation for supplying the leaders in the automotive industry.
