The Town Council are looking to recruit a flexible officer to work across the Town Council’s facilities including Ryde Marina. The role will involve working as part of a team dealing with customers from both the Marina and RTC facilities, and carrying out routine and urgent maintenance to Council facilities.
Due to the nature of the tides the role will be subject to a changing rota, and some evening/weekend/ bank holiday cover will be required. There will also be a requirement to provide ‘out of hours’ cover for facilities on a rota basis which will attract an additional payment.
During the summer months the role will also involve providing beach hire equipment (deckchairs, sun loungers, paddleboards, kayaks etc..) on the beach and at events.
The role would suit someone with marine and Maintenance experience that enjoys working as part of a small, friendly team.
Hours will be worked as an average across the year with more hours in the summer and fewer in the winter.
A DBS check will be required for this role.
