Form of workYou will be part of the busy fit out team on the build of ferries.
Suitable candidates must have marine experience .
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing a range of joinery tasks, on the fitout of vessels
- Ensuring all joinery work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with marine industry regulations
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to execute precise joinery installations
- Collaborating with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines
Job Requirements:
- Apprenticeship served or NVQ Level 3 equivalent
- Previous marine experience in a shipyard environment
- Strong understanding of Marine Joinery techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety
Contract length - 6 months
PAYE only - £17.07/h plus £2.14/h holiday pay for first 37 hours (Mon - Thurs standard week), Overtime after 37 hours £23.90/h plus £3.00/h holiday pay
