The Client:
Our client is a well-established marine dealership, focusing on servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and injector cleaning.
The Role:
As a Marine Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing marine outboard engines.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and troubleshoot faults and issues.
* Install and outfit outboard engines onto boats.
* Adjust trailers as necessary.
* Load and unload boats.
* Offer individualised customer service.
* Carry out relevant administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Previous experience working in a similar role.
* Possess 2-3 years of relevant experience.
* Possess mechanical experience.
Desirable:
* Marine industry experience.
* Background in boat and trailer fit out.
* Ability to operate a forklift.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Capability for occasional heavy lifting.
