About the Department: The Market Data Platform Migration Analyst will play a crucial role in the transformation program aimed at migrating the existing Market Data Platform into Alveo infrastructure. This involves analyzing the current Market Data application, gathering additional requirements from business users, and documenting business requirements. The role requires a broad understanding of various financial asset classes and the ability to comprehend Market Data requirements for risk and valuation calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Analyze data vendors used by Organizationho Bank and interact with development teams to understand existing architecture.
- Collaborate with entity stakeholders to comprehend Market Data usage and gather additional business requirements.
- Produce business requirements specification and functional specification for the migration.
- Document existing data vendors and the type of data consumed by all platforms, including FO, Murex, and MDS systems.
- Document end-to-end flow for the existing platform and provide detailed documentation for downstream feeds.
- Provide mapping attributes between source and downstream feeds.
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal development teams on business requirements.
Extended Activities:
- Participate in BAU (Business as Usual) activity with existing implementation.
- Provide input on best practices.
- Assist in consolidating reference data consumption once the Market Data process is sorted out.

Person Specification: Essential:
- Good experience in gap analysis and writing business and functional specifications.
- Strong knowledge of any Market Data Platform (e.g., Alveo / Golden Source).
- Experience working with users, senior management, and stakeholders in a pressured environment.
- Understanding of Market Data requirements for various asset classes.
- Basic knowledge of Investment Banking services and processes.
- Strong knowledge of various data providers (e.g., Bloomberg).
Desirable:
- Experience delivering Market data consolidation solutions in a large change program.
- Previous experience working with data office.
- Knowledge of reviewing data contracts with various vendors.
Technical Knowledge/Skills:
- Market Data Providers (BBG/Refinitiv) and their products (e.g., Data License).
- Knowledge of Agile design and practices.
- Technical expertise in MS Excel (including VBA), Oracle, and/or Sybase.
Qualifications:
