As an Analytics Manager in the Marketing Analytics, Effectiveness & Brand Performance team you and your team will play a crucial role in the development and subsequent delivery of our member communications strategy by utilising both the team’s unique and valuable knowledge of our data as well as their analytical skills and tools. This includes identifying new targeting opportunities to talk to our members or how we could improve and refine existing campaigns. Your team will also provide all the associated performance MI to help us make timely and informed decisions about the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. You will be part of the fantastic and very supportive wider Personalisation & Performance Marketing where you will be working with our Squad teams to support them with the analysis required for our 1-1 marketing campaigns

What you’ll be doing
You will be contributing to the development of the Society’s member marketing communications engagement strategy building effective and strong working relationships across the Personalisation & Performance Marketing team and broader Society.
This will include leading the analytics team (3 direct reports), making sure we make the most of the team’s extensive analytical skills to ensure we are talking to our members about the right things at the right time as well as identifying new opportunities to talk to our members aligned to the objectives of the campaign brief.
You and your team will also help the broader team to understand the performance of our communications so we can make improvements for future campaigns. Making sure we have the right measurement methodology in place is crucial to the success of our campaigns.
We’ll also need you to be able to support both strategic and tactical developments which might improve our existing analytical capabilities, tools and techniques resulting in identifying new opportunities, driving out efficiencies or making cost savings.

- A high level of numeracy and critical thinking; you can quickly assess campaign results and work with stakeholders to drive forward recommendations.
