Marketing and Events Coordinator
Location –
Roxton, Bedfordshire (flexible and hybrid options available, hours can be discussed)
Position and Salary –
Between 30 and 40 hours a week, which must include Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. c. £30,000 for full-time (40 hours), pro-rated for part-time hours.
Role of the Marketing and Events Coordinator
The Marketing and Events Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver the annual marketing plan, including strong involvement in the planning and marketing of the company’s presence at trade shows and exhibitions.
This position would suit someone looking for their next role in Marketing and/or events, as well as those returning to work after a career break. The other key focus of this role could be digital marketing, PR, or content creation, depending on the particular skills, experience and interests of the successful candidate
This is a brand new position in a very fast-growing organisation, with plenty of scope for development. Training and mentoring can be provided where candidates may have strong experience in some areas and less experience in others.
Main duties and responsibilitie of the Marketing and Events Coordinator
1. To work with the Marketing Manager to plan and organise RSP UK’s attendance at industry shows and exhibitions; including merchandise, marketing materials, logistics, and pre- and post-event marketing campaigns.
2. To create content for social media, predominantly photography and videography, liaising with external suppliers where necessary.
3. To write copy for the website, marketing literature and customer communications; liaising with external agencies and designers where necessary.
4. To develop and update company presentations.
5. To aid with the implementation of Salesforce and Pardot and to work with the Marketing Manager to map out marketing automation processes.
6. To support the Marketing Manager in the planning and delivery of marketing campaign
Desirable qualifications, skills and attributes for the Marketing and Events Coordinator
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable during changing circumstances.
* At least 3-4 years’ experience in marketing, communications, events and/or PR, potentially with a marketing qualification e.g CIM, CIPR, IDM
* Digital skills, especially content production, experience of undertaking Marketing and social media analysis.
* Experience of CRMs or data management.
* Experience and/or knowledge of video editing and production for digital content, e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects or other software..
* Some knowledge of design tools e.g Canva, Photoshop, InDesign or other software
