As a Marketing Assistant in their team, your primary objective is to provide essential support to the Marketing team in the development and execution of communication and marketing strategies. This role plays a crucial part in promoting a positive brand image for this company.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Marketing Calendar Management: Coordinate and update marketing calendars, ensuring accurate plans are circulated to key stakeholders.
- Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about the competitive landscape, provide regular reports to the team, and share noteworthy initiatives.
- Content Support: Provide administrative support for planning, execution, and post-production of marketing content, including seasonal look books, marketing assets, and brand campaigns.
- Analysis and Reporting: Assist in the analysis and reporting of communication activities, including campaign wrap-up reports. Collaborate cross-functionally to collect and compile results.
- Asset Distribution: Assist in the distribution of marketing assets, ensuring partner contact lists are up to date. Manage the distribution of tools across wholesale accounts, franchise partners, and retail centers.
- Retail Marketing Initiatives: Support the development of seasonal retail marketing initiatives, acting as a liaison between retail teams and the communications team.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing marketing events to broaden the target audience and increase brand awareness.
- Creative Briefing Support: Support the team in briefing brand-marketing led initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and efficient workflow management.
- Content Coordination: Coordinate content rollout plans to ensure consistent communication across various business touch-points.
- Copywriting Coordination: Manage the coordination of the copywriting process for marketing initiatives.
- Designer Communication Plan: Coordinate communication plan with designers, work with the buying team to coordinate partner marketing assets.
- Sample Management: Assist in sample management for influencer gifting and partnerships.
- Brand Custodian: Act as a brand custodian, collaborating with all departments to ensure brand consistency across the business.
- General Team Support: Provide general team admin support, including meeting note-taking, invoice processing, and document organisation.
Skills and Experience Required
- BA degree or equivalent in media/journalism/fashion or a related field.
- Strong interest in luxury retail and/or fashion with a clear understanding of marketing and communications.
- Administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilient under pressure and highly organized.
- Analytical, able to identify market trends.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in marketing, creative, or communications within the luxury fashion industry is desirable.
IMPORTANT: This is an urgent role with hybrid arrangement to work 3 days in the office
You should be comfortable traveling to Parsons Green.
This is a fixed term role with a duration of 6 months and has potential to transition into a permanent position
