Marketing & Communications Coordinator

We need a great storyteller, an excellent wordsmith and all-round brilliant communicator to join our small but busy marketing and comms team. The right person will primarily deliver brand consistent written communications aligned to our target audiences and key campaigns to represent the Tetra Tech brand value proposition in Europe. However, due to the size of the team you will also have the opportunity to be involved in planning and running of conference and events, internal initiatives and much more.
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager in the UK you will be self-motivated and confident working with people at all levels across the business. You will work closely with all members of the marketing and communications team to ensure communications is an integrated part of all our marketing campaigns.
About You
You will ideally have some experience in a professional B2B communications role and be unfazed by the sometimes-complex nature of our work. This means being able to get under the surface of our people, projects and expertise in order to share it with the world. You will build relationships with colleagues to understand their clients and the work they do in order to develop content that truly engages audiences with our business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Plan, generate and promote content that represents Tetra Tech and is aligned to our corporate strategy (Our Blueprint) to ensure the brand is promoted, positioned and protected in our region
Understand how you role will contribute to the strengthening of the Tetra Tech brand to meet our aim of becoming the premier consultancy operating in the UK and European markets both via our breadth of service offering, as leaders in specialist fields and as the destination of choice for top talent who see it as a great place to work.
Develop comms required as part of integrated campaigns (such as for events)
Work with operational colleagues collaboratively on content development and advise best solutions to meet their strategic objectives
Produce consistently messaged external communications writing creative and engaging copy for all channels including thought leadership, case studies, news articles, social media, award submissions and more.
Implement our social media content schedule
Measure and evaluate all comms activity and feed into appropriate reports for the Marketing and Communications department
Support the marketing and communications manager in the planning and execution of our events schedule
Liaise with other regional Tetra Tech operating units on integrated campaigns
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
Experience either as an in-house communications professional or agency background An upbeat, enthusiastic, can do attitude willing to get involved in all areas of the marketing and communications mix Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, time management, and team working Experience writing quality, search engine friendly content. Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage tasks independently using own initiative Ability to cut through the noise, identify the problem and work collaboratively to come up with creative solutions that are deliverable Exceptional attention to detail. An ability to prioritise and work on a multitude of projects simultaneously.
Desirable but not essential: A knowledge of WordPress and other CMS experience
