We are rapidly transforming, and this role is perfect for a hands-on marketer who has the technical skill and experience to take responsibility for all areas of our marketing activity and help shape the marketing strategy.

 

You will oversee our Communications team, ensuring powerful stories are at the core of our communications, and that messaging meets the needs of the charity and people with Crohn’s and Colitis.

 

The repositioning and actualisation of our Brand will be an integral part of your role, and you will be championing the brand internally and externally, and actively engaging our stakeholders.

 

 

Salary circa £45,000- £48,000 depending on experience.

 

Location: Remote, Hybrid, Hertfordshire

 

Hours: 35 hours (FTE)

 

Contract: Permanent (Immediate start)

 

 

This is a varied and exciting role, where you will be responsible for leading, developing and delivering effective, integrated marketing communications strategies and processes.

 

This role is suited to an experienced marketing and Communications Manager:

 

  • Who enjoys variety.
  • Is comfortable using a range of channels including external agencies to meet deadlines, and ensure good value for money.
  • Who can provide demonstrable evidence of developing, implementing and evaluating high profile, multi-media strategies.
  • Who is a confident and engaging communicator with the ability to create and implement imaginative and impactful content and communications across multiple channels.
  • Has strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Is innovative, forward-thinking, and has a proactive approach to delivery of marketing and communications.
  • Has excellent organisational skills, ensuring the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise work effectively.
  • Is a collaborative team player, with proven people management and leadership skills, who is looking to work with, manage, and motivate an inspirational, dynamic, passionate and creative team.
  • Has experience of engaging key stakeholders in complex projects, ensuring they are involved and heard.
  • Has a focus on ensuring diversity of stories and experiences are collected and communicated in order to represent everyone in the community.
  • Has a proven track record of implementing a strategic approach to brand development, messaging and tone of voice across diverse communication channels.
