Marketing Coordinator

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing/Business Coordinator to work within our clients proactive European Marketing Team in Newbridge, Edinburgh.

This position will suit candidates with strong business acumen and experience within a faced-paced, varied Administration /PA position. A marketing qualification is not required for this position.

You will be responsible for a broad range of marketing activities, including the coordination of events and the design and layout of corporate and technical content across multiple communication platforms.

You must be able to attend events as required (approximately 5 times per year within UK).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate branding, communications and logistics for events across the UK and Europe ensuring a smooth execution and positive representation of the company
• Organise sponsorship opportunities at global industry conferences
• Attendance at key events where required
• Collaborate closely with the global technical team and external suppliers to produce a wide range of technical literature and tools.
• Creation of non-technical content including corporate or product brand campaigns and other marketing collateral
• Maintain consistency in branding and messaging across various communication platforms
• Collaborate with translation agencies or individual translators to meet local language requirements across Europe
• Document layout using InDesign or external agency
• Coordinate content, design and distribution of our employee magazine
• Manage regular updates to employee intranet site to keep content fresh and appealing

Experience required:

• Experience within a varied administration/PA/Business position
• Copy writing skills and experience of Canva or InDesign would be advantageous. It is more essential to have strong written and communication skills.
