Marketing & E-commerce Intern (12 month Placement)

To start in July 2024

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join us for their 12 month industry placement who will be passionate about maximising this opportunity to kick start a career in Marketing & e-commerce. This is a unique opportunity to support our consumer marketing team within our Mother & Childcare category as well as our UK Amazon e-commerce team. You will also have the opportunity to gain international experience working with our European colleagues as the UK has becomes a strategic area for growth in 2024.

The role will report into the UK Marketing Lead within the UKI Personal Health business with a dotted line to the E-Commerce Amazon team lead. You will collaborate with both UK and EU colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the business. Given the diverse and extensive remit of the two teams, this can be a dynamic role where you can define you own areas of interest in addition to your standard responsibilities – a great opportunity to develop your knowledge across various functional areas in the consumer goods industry.


In this role, you have the opportunity to:

  • Support the marketing team on Consumer, Portfolio marketing, incl. omni-channel calendar (in which New Product Innovation sits) and portfolio management
  • Review and share local insights about consumers, markets, competition and trends, and provides input to wider business
  • Responsible for checking retailer content across our product portfolio
  • Responsible for ordering samples of product and ad hoc marketing team support
  • Responsible for updating weekly and monthly trackers for Amazon team. Responsible for managing Amazon team reports.
  • Processing invoice agreements for Amazon team.
  • Supporting with promotional investment analysis for the Amazon team

You’re right for this role if:

  • You are highly motivated to maximise this opportunity to kick start a career in marketing and e-commerce.
  • You are a penultimate year student currently in the United Kingdom (essential)
  • You have a relevant academic background or related evidence of an interest in these areas
  • You will have strong Excel skills and be familiar with MS Office suite
