Job Title: Marketing Executive Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Brighton Office Negotiable 3 days per week remote working Reports to: Head of Direct Marketing Salary: £25,000 £30,000 dependent on experience Contract: Full-time permanent Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar role Job Role Summary: Ideally, we are looking for a Marketing Executive with a minimum of two years experience within a similar role. This is an exciting new position within the Neilson Marketing Team to support the development of our marketing strategy and bring the Neilson brand to life. This will be achieved through various platforms website, blogs, social media, newsletter and other outlets. The primary focus of the role will be: Build and produce email content and social media. Website content updates copy and imagery. Website development new sections and page development. Support with design agency briefs and QA-supplied artwork. Support with ongoing partnerships to produce marketing materials. General marketing comms and admin support, including writing monthly newsletters and content pieces through direct mail and online and reporting on campaigns. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Working closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver the marketing strategy across the web, email, social media, print material Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating content as per the weekly/monthly plans, checking of automation programmes and amending where required Support with social media activity, mainly across Instagram and Facebook, with reporting on engagement on a weekly basis Support with the deliverables of all partnership agreements and sponsorship opportunities. QA checking website content to ensure pages carry up-to-date and accurate information on all Neilson properties and product attributes Helping to develop the website, updating content and navigation Helping to implement new website sections under the direction of the Marketing Manager and Head of Digital Thinking beyond the norm to produce brand-relevant, engaging, shareable content to bring new visitors to the Neilson website Managing and creating Neilson's in-house photo and video library Ensuring that all content follows Neilson's Tone of Voice and Brand Guidelines Copywriting where required Acting as the in-house producer for agency-driven content ideas, accompanying and assisting their production needs Liaise with cross-functional teams on promotional plans to convert, reactivate and retain customers Marketing admin support, creating POs, updating logos, QA checking marketing materials Requirements Personal Specification Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Work to strict deadlines Confident and articulate communicator at all levels Commercially aware Evidence of success in a team environment Ability to multi-task and be happy to get stuck in with a range of different tasks. Technical Skills & Knowledge Experience / understanding using CRM platform SuiteCRM and DotDigitial (or equivalent) with HTML editing skills in Drupal and/or Email platforms. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word competency. Mac user, DTP use (Adobe suite etc.) CMS use Experience & Track Record: Essential: Highly confident in producing content and reviewing creative material Good creative judge and copywriting skills Ideally up to two years of experience working in a similar role Experience with social media management Desirable: Holiday industry experience is not essential, but love for travel and passion for an active lifestyle would be beneficial - water sports, skiing, cycling etc Ski and Active holiday market knowledge Premium brand background Understanding of SEO principles Demonstrable experience in B2C marketing Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships & Accreditations Essential: Educated to A-level Strong writing skills with the ability to tell a story Benefits Neilson Benefits: 25 days holiday bank holidays.
