Job description

Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a highly organised Marketing Fulfilment & Events Executive to manage the content displayed on LCD screens that supports current campaigns.Ensure our Protyre Autocare centres and independent retailers have the merchandise and point of sale (POS) that they need, whilst also maximising our presence at third-party (and internal) events. Manage stock levels, work with third-party suppliers and develop processes that ensure a seamless and efficient service whilst also responsible for maintaining the database of how independents use marketing funds.

Reporting to the Head of Channel, the successful candidate will:

  • Develop an annual Events Plan that clearly articulates how the business objectives (for Brand and Sales/Account Managers) will be delivered by a costed, resourced and time lined set of marketing events. This plan to be sold into the internal stakeholders, and then delivered to time, budget and to all pre-agreed KPIs
  • Supporting a range of third-party and MTS/Protyre events: event selection, objective setting, venue contract management, customer invitations, subject matter expert content development, stand set-up, coordination of stand management, attendee preparation, the invited customer process, management of lead logging, communication in the lead-up and post event, and lessons learnt analysis
  • Provide insights to the wider team on opportunities within the events market, making recommendations on new events
  • Effective management and reporting, providing regular updates for the wider business on the event calendar and merchandise catalogues, KPI summaries and input to reporting packs
  • Collaborative working with fellow Marketing Managers/Executives

About you

You will come from an administrative or marketing background from either the retail or wholesale sector within a fast-paced environment. Advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will be highly organised with strong multi-tasking capabilities. Good eye for detail/deadline dates and the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks.

An understanding of the automotive industry and/or Tyre market from a consumer/trade perspective would be an advantage but not essential.

Headquartered in Micheldever Station, near Winchester, our teams are based right across the UK - from Southam (near Coventry) to Chepstow, Halifax, Airdrie, Bury St Edmunds, Walsall, Haydock, Ashford, Nottingham, Exeter, Washington, and Greenford (West London) - and this role within our Marketing Team supports a hybrid working approach with c.2-3 days a week within one of our offices (either in Southam or Micheldever), with regular visits to Protyre Autocare and independent/franchised dealers across the UK, plus at least quarterly get-togethers with Marketing colleagues in another UK location.

This is a pivotal period for the business, with the recent hiring of a Board-level Group Marketing Director, demonstrating that marketing has become a more in?uential and strategic function within the business - with a more data-driven, insight-led, omni-channel approach to marketing activity and a desire to attract new customers into the sales funnel whilst developing and maintaining the best possible customer experience across all channels. This has led to a restructuring of the Marketing Team - with the creation of this role - bringing together two separate B2B/D2C marketing teams into one and instigating a more matrix structure with clear focus and accountabilities for all. Critically it is accepted that the Marketing team are intrinsic to the execution of our strategy
