We are seeking an experienced Marketing Executive / Lead Generator to join our client's already successful and growing team to help them expand their reach in the Electrical & Solar sector, with a strong focus on solar panel and battery installations.

You will play a critical role in generating leads from scratch using various online marketing channels, including Google Analytics, PPC, SEO, social media, and website optimisation, along with an existing well-managed and loaded CRM system. The successful candidate will also be responsible for qualifying prospects over the phone, which will include an element of business development, and scheduling appointments for the Senior Management team and Directors.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive / Lead Generator:

  1. Lead Generation:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Lead Generation strategy, to identify and attract potential customers interested in solar panel and battery installations.
  • Utilise various digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, PPC, SEO, social media, and website optimisation, to drive high-quality leads into the business.
  • Monitor and analyse Lead Generation efforts to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.
  1. Lead Qualification:
    • Contact and engage with generated leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to convert the leads to qualified appointments.
    • Utilise effective sales tactics to qualify leads and gather essential information about their needs, budget, and time line to evaluate their interest and suitability.
    • Ensure that qualified leads meet the criteria set by the business.
  2. Appointment Booking:
    • Schedule appointments for the Senior Management team and Directors to meet with qualified leads ensuring a steady stream of opportunities for battery and solar panel installation consultations.
    • Maintain an organised calendar and provide accurate information to SMT to ensure smooth appointment preparation.
    • Follow up with potential customers to confirm appointments and address any questions or concerns.
  3. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Keep detailed records of Lead Generation efforts and outcomes.
    • Provide regular reports on lead conversion rates, appointment booking success, and other key performance metrics.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine Lead Generation and qualification strategies.
    • Provide regular insights and recommendations to enhance marketing strategies.
  1. Market Research:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities to improve Lead Generation strategies.
  • Attend industry events to develop and grow your network and understanding of the industry.
  1. Campaign Optimisation:
  • Continuously analyse and optimise marketing campaigns to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and overall effectiveness.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other marketing and sales team members to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving business objectives.

Requirements of the Marketing Executive / Lead Generator:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and Lead Generation, preferably in the Electrical, Solar or Energy industries.
  • Ideally you will hold a relevant Marketing qualification.
  • Experienced in working in a target-driven environment.
  • Proven experience within a BD / Sales or Lead Generation focused role.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience, and strong knowledge of online marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, PPC, SEO, social media, and website optimisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experienced and confident in sales or business development and the ability to effectively qualify leads.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing a busy schedule and appointments.
  • A customer-focused attitude with a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM and lead management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to Lead Generation.
  • A clear understanding of the sales process.
