Marketing Manager - The Role:
The purpose of this position is to draw in and retain customers with effective marketing initiatives resulting in increased revenue year on year.
The role includes the responsibility of upholding brand value, credibility, positioning, and ensuring the whole business is inline offline and online.
To be proactive and work closely with the head of business development and team to ensure that what we are working on is relevant to the customer and is producing revenue for the medium-long term.
The sales plan and marketing plan needs to be aligned and roll up to the overall company objectives year on year.
This is a proactive role sitting within management team that requires high levels of initiative to enable upper management to work on other company strategies and projects to take Coastal to the next level.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performance management of staff within the marketing department.
- Auditing and keeping a close eye on own product branding (etching quality, logo positioning, packaging quality etc)
- Management of all Marketing collateral including trade publications, general content marketing published internally and externally.
- Imagery - product, people, facilities etc.
- Maintaining awareness of competition and what their activities are in the market.
- Website graphics and user experience (working closely with technical manager)
- Monitoring return on investment in budget spent year on year.
- Management of social media
- Researching and analysing market trends
- Keep close to the customer - either by zoom or visits
- Creation and implementation of annual marketing plan
- Advise HR of any sick days their staff take to ensure its logged.
- Maintain an organised structure for folders and documents on the server.
- Health & Safety - Your responsible to ensure that all employees within your team carry out their tasks in accordance with the companies Health & Safety Guidelines, any failures to be reported to the management team for review & action.
- Regular meetings with manager
- Maintenance and care of Brand Centre with engineering department
