Reporting to the Managing Director, our new Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of Sterling Event Group’s marketing strategies.

Holidays:

• 28 days per year
• After 3 years of continuous service, you will receive your birthday off (day off can be taken within 7 days of your birthday)
• After 5 years of continuous service, you will receive a further day’s holiday

About the role:

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the company’s marketing activities
• Plan and implement various B2B marketing campaigns
• Raise company and brand awareness across multiple channels to develop and maintain business opportunities
• Supporting the company’s social media/online presence across multiple channels
• Design a variety of engaging visual content and promotional materials using photos, videos, and text
• Coordinate website redesign/rebuild and ongoing updates and improvements
• Produce and distribute regular press releases
• Internal and external communication of company activities and achievements
• Supporting showcase events and exhibitions

The Ideal Candidate:

Skills & Key Attributes:

• Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
• Relevant qualification(s) in Marketing / Advertising / Brand Management
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a B2B marketing role
• Experience in the events industry desirable but not essential
• Ability to manage the workload of multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Copy writing and proofreading ability
• Good eye for graphics and design (experience with design and editing software packages an advantage but not essential)
• Creativity and imagination
• Organised, motivated and efficient
• Great interpersonal and teamworking skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
