Our client, a leading provider of funding solutions to businesses requires an experienced Marketing Manager to join it’s team in Manchester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing the profile of the business by developing implementing and maintaining the groups marketing strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- WorkwiththeHeadsofBusinesstoidentifyvaluablecontentandmaximisethe deliveryofthatcontentinatimelyfashiontoincreasetheprofileofthebusiness.
- Represent the Marketing function within the group’s Senior Management Team, ensuring all major developments, plans, and issues are communicated to the Group on a regular basis.
- Leadanddevelopthemarketingteam,ensuringtheteamisfitforpurposewith clear goals and objectives, and that their roles and responsibilities and tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Manage and be held accountable for the Marketing budget and delivery of the annual plan.
- Establish and manage appropriate relationships with relevant external providers (PR agencies,DigitalAgencies,Journalists,etc)toensuredeliveryofappropriate marketing products / campaigns.
- Develop an annual programme of awards for the group to enter (as and when appropriate) establishing the group as an award-winning firm.
- Actas abrandambassador forthe groupensuringallcommunicationsandimagery are'onbrand’withappropriatelook,feelandtone.
- Produce regular reportsand analysis to trackcampaign activity, performance, and reach
- Maintainstandardoperatingproceduresforcoreresponsibilities
Key Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- People management experience.
- Appropriate and up-to-date knowledge of marketing practices, tools, developments, and initiatives.
- Commercial awareness.
- 3+ years’ experience working within the marketing sector.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree or professional qualification (Ideally level 4 or above CIM accredited) is preferred but not essential.
